Islandwide NOTARIZING LLC
Terms & Conditions
Effective Date: April 20, 2026
SERVICES
Islandwide Notarizing LLC provides mobile notary services in accordance with Hawaiʻi law. We are not attorneys and do not provide legal advice.
Notarial services are limited to documents written in English. The notary must be able to communicate directly with the signer, and the signer must be able to understand the notarial act. If clear communication is not possible, the notarization cannot be completed.

All required signers must present a government-issued photo ID that is valid or expired no more than three years prior to the appointment. Without proper identification, notarization cannot be completed.
SIGNERS
All individuals whose signatures require notarization must be physically present and provide a government-issued photo ID. Acceptable forms of identification include a state ID, passport, or military ID.
WITNESSES
If witnesses are required, they must be physically present at the appointment, be at least 18 years old, impartial, not named in the document, have no beneficial interest in the transaction, and present a valid government-issued photo ID.

A new travel retainer fee is required to reschedule any canceled, missed, or incomplete appointment.
INCOMPLETE NOTARIZATIONS
Islandwide Notarizing LLC reserves the right to refuse service at its sole discretion, including but not limited to situations involving improper identification, incomplete or unprepared documents, unwilling or unaware signers, suspected coercion, or any circumstance that does not comply with Hawaiʻi notarial law. This includes situations where clear communication in English is not possible between the notary and the signer.
An appointment is considered incomplete if the notarization cannot be properly completed, including but not limited to situations involving missing or invalid identification, absent required witnesses, or unavailable required signers.
The travel retainer fee is non-refundable once the notary has arrived at the agreed-upon location, except as otherwise stated in the cancellation policy.
TRAVEL & LOCATION CONDITIONS
The signer is responsible for ensuring a safe, accessible, and appropriate signing environment. Islandwide Notarizing LLC reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service if the location is unsafe, unsuitable, or if conditions prevent the notarial act from being properly completed. In such cases, the travel retainer fee will be retained.
For home appointments, signings are typically completed in a convenient outdoor or common area (such as a porch, driveway, or lobby) to keep the process quick and seamless. If you need an indoor setting due to mobility or special circumstances, just let us know—we're happy to accommodate.
PAYMENT & COMPLETION POLICY
Payment for notarial services and any applicable convenience fees is due upon completion of the notarization. The travel retainer fee is subject to the terms outlined above.
LIMITATION OF RESPONSIBILITY
Islandwide Notarizing LLC is not responsible for the content, legality, or accuracy of documents presented for notarization.
